Welcome to our newest activity - VR in the Hunter Valley. We will be releasing two games to start and you can pick from Mini Golf or Down the Rabbit Hole Escape Room. VR has made vast steps in the last few years and now we have the most up to date, mixed reality headsets that have just been released, with free range and air conditioned building, come and experience the best available in VR today.

What is Mixed Reality?

Mixed reality (MR) is a term used to describe the merging of a real-world environment and a computer-generated one. Physical and virtual objects may co-exist in mixed reality environments and interact in real time.

​

Mixed reality that incorporates haptics has sometimes been referred to as Visuo-haptic mixed reality.

In a physics context, the term "interreality system" refers to a virtual reality system coupled with its real-world counterpart. A 2007 paper describes an interreality system comprising a real physical pendulum coupled to a pendulum that only exists in virtual reality. This system has two stable states of motion: a "Dual Reality" state in which the motion of the two pendula are uncorrelated, and a "Mixed Reality" state in which the pendula exhibit stable phase-locked motion, which is highly correlated. The use of the terms "mixed reality" and "interreality" is clearly defined in the context of physics and may be slightly different in other fields, however, it is generally seen as, "bridging the physical and virtual world".

Is there truth to the Cheshire Cat’s declaration “we're all mad here”? You will soon find out. Down the Rabbit Hole is a VR adventure that serves as a prequel story to Lewis Carroll’s classic Alice in Wonderland tale. In the game, you will discover a girl in search of her lost pet Patches that has wandered into Wonderland. You will guide her as she moves through the mysterious world looking for her missing pet. But which way?

You control the girl’s fate by plotting her journey through an immersive diorama that wraps around you. Through the game’s many twists and turns, you will find yourself exploring the most wondrous corners of Wonderland, solving puzzles, uncovering secrets and making choices about the story along the way.
